James E. Blount, IV began practicing law in 1998. Primarily focused on personal injury, workers’ compensation, product liability and medical malpractice, Jimmy graduated from Rhodes College in 1994 with a B.A. in English. He earned his law degree from the University of Memphis in 1998 and joined his father in practice shortly thereafter. He is licensed to practice law in Arkansas and Tennessee and has been admitted by the United States District Court, Western District of Tennessee, Western District of Arkansas, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Jimmy is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Tennessee Association for Justice, and the Memphis Bar Association and was recently elected a fellow for the Memphis Bar Foundation.

As a lifelong resident of Shelby County, Jimmy enjoys spending time in the area with his wife and three sons, and prides himself on being an easy going, down-to-earth lawyer who will do anything to make his clients feel comfortable.
